Grace Cottage

Thank you for choosing our sacred space for your personal rejuvenation time! We have developed our property with your personal wellness in mind. You will find clean accommodations, bidets, squatty potties, warm showers and many places to relax, meditate and unwind. There are signs on most of the trees and plants to let you know what they are as you take a meditative walk thru the gardens. Up-a-top has 360° view of mtn and sea & is a fabulous place to take in sunrise, sunset, or an afternoon nap.

THE SPACE

Grace Cottage has two single beds, bathroom, outdoor shower with hot water and veranda. We can set it up as a king bed if desired. It is in a very private setting. You will be on our private secure sanctuary consisting of one acre of lush farmland with many fruit trees, lots of lawn and flowers. The Main House is Hope which which is where I live. There are three additional cottages that have screens and receive a wonderful ocean breeze . Each cottage accommodates two people and has a private bathroom. Each cottage rents for additional $75 USD per night and sleeps two. If you have a group, you may rent all three cottages if they are available. They are all on airbnb. Heartland Oasis- Grace Cottage and Heartland Oasis - Blessings Cottage and Heartland Oasis - Ease Cottage. You may also message me and I can help you with booking multiple cottages. 

The dining gazebo is a perfect place to take in a game of dominos, an island favorite. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove and food pantry to store your items. This is a shared community kitchen that is fully equipped with dishes, coffee maker, French press, pot and pans.

WELLNESS: We are wellness centered. In the US, I provide wellness services such as acupuncture, massage and holistic health consultations. Therefore, at Heartland Oasis, we provide toilet bidets, squatty potties, memory foam mattress topers, and other wellness services on site. You may join one of our scheduled wellness retreats or have us create a custom group or private retreat.

HOUSEKEEPING: Additional Charges in addition to the one time cleaning fee that is part of your booking -We offer to come and change out sheets and towels every four days. There is a washer machine on premise so some guest prefer to do their own cleaning and laundry. Others want us to come in but at certain times that meets their needs. When you do have us clean during your stay you can include your laundry. This service enhancement is $25 US. You can have this service in any increment that works best for you. We may also be available to cook some meals for you and/or grocery shop. Generally, cooking is $15 per meal plus groceries. If you know some basic items you would like upon your arrival, we can do that also. At the time of your stay, you may discuss your needs and desires with us. We can then give you a price for the services you would like. We provide custom services. We like to tailor things to your needs. This way you pay for what you want but don't have to pay for what you don't want or need. If you already know what you would like please let me know when you book and we can set things up for you. These fee are per cottage. If you are coming in a group we can arrange special pricing.

YARD MAINTENANCE: Our gardener comes in a few times a week to water the plants and do any maintenance that he sees needs attention. When you see him you can ask him any questions you have if you'd like him to contact me.

EXCURSIONS/EXPERIENCES: Also when you setup your booking, we can discuss things that you would like to do. I will let you know of special things you might like to experience. Then I can help set these experiences up for you. Again we tailor our services to your needs

When selecting our property, on immigration form just check visiting Family/Friends. We will surely become good friends! This is because we are a private home not an commercial villa. Your will give them our local phone number and address which airbnb will send you after booking.

Guest access

The Calabash Bay is just a few miles down the hill. Taxis run frequently or it is also a nice walk. Other beaches are Great Bay beach with the awesome eatery "Lobster Pot". There is Frenchman's Beach that also has great food and music.” We have a full acre so there is plenty of room for your car or bike you may rent.
